HOW CAN A SUPPORT GROUP HELP ME?

Caregiving can evoke a lot of different emotions, including: guilt depression, stress and resentment. How do you deal with these emotions by yourself? A better question to ask yourself may be… Why are you trying to deal with these emotions by yourself?

Joining a support group of your peers, who are experiencing the same emotions, can be very helpful. A support group offers exactly what the name says “support”! It’s an opportunity to exchange ideas with other caregivers, share frustrations, and relieve your stress.
